Transparent Procurement
Once the documentation has been finalized, the procurement process officially begins.
All procurements are conducted in accordance with established procedures that ensure open competition, transparency, and equal opportunities for all suppliers.
During the evaluation process, price is only one of several criteria considered. Equal attention is given to compliance with technical specifications, product quality, completeness of documentation, and the supplier's capacity to deliver within the required timeframe.
This comprehensive approach enables the selection of solutions that provide the best balance between quality, reliability, and value for money.
From Warehouse to Hospital
After procurement is completed, medical equipment, medicines, and healthcare supplies are delivered directly to healthcare facilities.
For the ZDOROVI team, however, delivery is not the end of the process.
Providing assistance is only meaningful if the equipment and supplies are used effectively and genuinely strengthen a hospital's capacity to deliver care.
For this reason, ZDOROVI conducts post-delivery monitoring visits, communicates with healthcare professionals and hospital management, evaluates how the equipment is being used, and gathers feedback from end users.
This ongoing monitoring helps measure the real impact of procurement activities on healthcare delivery while providing valuable insights that inform future support.
Procurement as a Driver of Systemic Change
Effective humanitarian assistance does not begin in a warehouse or with a procurement procedure.
It begins with a clear understanding of the real needs of healthcare facilities and is only complete when the delivered equipment and medicines are improving patient care.
By combining robust needs assessments, transparent procurement procedures, close collaboration with healthcare institutions, and continuous monitoring, resources are transformed into lasting improvements for Ukraine's healthcare system.
For ZDOROVI, procurement is far more than a mechanism for delivering humanitarian aid—it is one of the key instruments for strengthening the resilience of Ukraine's healthcare system, particularly in the face of prolonged humanitarian challenges.
