ZDOROVI and the TERA Consortium Support Frontline Hospitals with Equipment and Medical Supplies
ZDOROVI, in partnership with the TERA Consortium, is launching a new project to support medical facilities in Ukraine’s frontline regions.
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of hospitals in communities operating daily under the pressure of war by providing medical equipment, essential medications, and resources necessary to ensure continuous patient care.
The project will be implemented in seven regions of Ukraine — Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv. These regions remain among the most heavily burdened within the healthcare system today: hospitals there simultaneously provide care to local residents, internally displaced persons, patients from frontline areas, and people affected by hostilities.
As part of the project, healthcare facilities will receive medical equipment, critically important medications, and surgical supplies. Currently, the ZDOROVI team has assessed hospital needs in cooperation with medical staff and regional health departments to ensure that the assistance responds to the actual challenges on the ground.

According to estimates by the ZDOROVI team, the project will improve access to healthcare services for at least 4,000 people, including residents of frontline communities, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, elderly patients, and other vulnerable groups.

The need for such initiatives remains extremely high. According to the results of ZDOROVI’s Barometer 8.0 study conducted in 2026, 57.9% of healthcare facility directors identified a lack of diagnostic equipment as one of the main challenges, while 57.0% pointed to the need to strengthen healthcare facilities’ IT infrastructure. At the same time, more than half of respondents — 52.6% — noted that medical technology and equipment constitute the most useful form of humanitarian aid for the daily operation of hospitals.

“We see how strained the healthcare system remains in regions living under the constant threat of shelling, so systematic support for such medical facilities continues to be one of our key priorities,” said Nataliia Tulinova, Founder and CEO of ZDOROVI.

The project also includes monitoring visits to hospitals to assess the use of donated resources, gather feedback from healthcare workers, and adapt support to evolving local needs.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, ZDOROVI has supported 1,000 medical facilities across Ukraine and helped more than 1 million patients.
Procurement is being carried out as part of the activities of the TERA Consortium, with financial support from the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF). The TERA Consortium was established by the Team4UA Charitable Foundation.
The TERA Consortium is the first national coalition of Ukrainian non-governmental organizations providing comprehensive support to civilians in high-risk regions.
