The Congress waspart of the international Healing Arts Ukraine initiative, aimed at supportingthe rehabilitation of veterans and strengthening the mental resilience of thecivilian population during wartime. It brought together representatives ofgovernment and international institutions, as well as the medical, cultural,and educational communities, alongside experts working at the intersection ofthe arts, mental health, and rehabilitation. Discussions also includedrepresentatives of the European Parliament, international Arts & Healthexperts, and — online — the Scottish Minister for Health, who presentedScotland’s experience in using artistic practices to support public health andwell-being.
As part of theCongress, Yelyzaveta Nepyipyvo was invited to participate in the PitchingSession for Arts Initiatives for Health as a representative of an organizationthat supports the development of healthcare projects. During the session, shepresented ZDOROVI’s approach to identifying, selecting, and supportingpromising initiatives that contribute to the development of Ukraine’shealthcare system. She also outlined the organization’s investment approach, whichprioritizes projects that address real needs, deliver measurable impact, anddemonstrate potential for scalability and long-term sustainability.
Throughout theCongress, participants explored international experience in integratingartistic practices into healthcare and psychosocial support systems, discussedways to strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration, and examined approaches toimplementing the Arts on Prescription model in Ukraine.
Participation insuch international events enables ZDOROVI to expand its partnerships, supportinnovative approaches to healthcare, and promote the development of solutionsthat integrate medicine, mental health, culture, and the arts to advanceUkraine’s recovery.
