The new agreementsare intended to strengthen coordination in healthcare and lay the groundworkfor long-term support for healthcare facilities and communities across theregion.

When working in Ukrainianregions, it is important for ZDOROVI not only to respond to individualrequests, but also to build systematic cooperation with local authorities andhealthcare stakeholders. That is why the organization continues to expand itsnetwork of strategic partnerships.

In Chernihiv, wesigned memoranda of cooperation and strategic partnership with the ChernihivRegional Military Administration, the Chernihiv Regional Health Department, andthe Department of Health of the Chernihiv City Council.

The partnershipwill focus on strengthening coordination between the parties, sharinginformation and expertise, jointly identifying current needs, and findingsolutions to strengthen the capacity of the healthcare system.

Chernihiv Regioncontinues to operate in wartime, placing additional pressure on its healthcaresystem. For healthcare facilities, it is important not only to have thenecessary resources, but also to be able to ensure continuous, high-qualitycare for the population.

That is why, forZDOROVI, strategic partnership is first and foremost an opportunity to betterunderstand the region’s needs and work together with local partners to identifysupport priorities.

As part of theongoing cooperation, the parties will be able to coordinate humanitarian andmedical assistance, strengthen the professional capacity of healthcare teams,support healthcare facilities, and work in other areas identified according tothe region’s needs.

The signing of thememoranda marks a new stage in ZDOROVI’s cooperation with the Chernihiv Region.At the same time, specific areas of work will be determined jointly, based onthe current needs of healthcare facilities, communities, and the region’shealthcare system.

For ZDOROVI, thisis another step toward a model of cooperation in which local partners not onlyreceive support but also directly participate in determining what that supportshould look like.

The signedmemoranda are not the conclusion of the agreements, but the beginning of thenext stage of joint work toward a more resilient and people-centered healthcaresystem in Chernihiv Region.
